Description
Vasoconstrictor nasal decongestant. Rapidly reduces nasal mucosal swelling to clear the nose. In BO, may be used occasionally to facilitate nasal breathing during acute congestion episodes. Use must remain short-term (3 to 5 days maximum) to avoid rebound effect (rhinitis medicamentosa).
